Project Assistant 

FTE: 32-40 hours

Location: Remote, Netherlands-based

About the role 

As a Project Assistant at Seuss+, you’ll play a critical role in keeping clinical development projects organized, moving, and under control. You’ll work closely with consultants and project leads to support the day-to-day delivery of client engagements, especially those using our VRMM (Vendor Relationship Maximization Method), a structured five-phase approach we use to help biotech sponsors manage complex vendor and trial operations. 

 

Day-to-day activities include

  • Project coordination 
  • Proposal administration 
  • Managing documentation such as Controlled Documents 
  • Scheduling and supporting client Communications across multiple workstreams 

 

This role is ideal for an experienced project manager in the clinical development space who thrives on organization, consistency, and accountability 

 

Key responsibilities

This role sits within a fast-paced consulting environment, where priorities shift and projects move quickly. You’ll work across multiple client accounts and internal initiatives, supporting senior team members and ensuring the operational side of our work runs smoothly, consistently, and on time.  

 

Project Coordination and Support

  • Assist in planning, monitoring, and documentation across multiple clinical development projects 
  • Coordinate meetings, logistics, and communication with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Support in the preparation of client deliverables and maintain organized project records 
  • Support in the preparation of client meetings and at meetings take minutes and schedule follow-ups 

 

 

Financial and Analytical Support

  • Conduct basic data checks and support financial tasks such as invoice tracking and budget comparisons 
  • Assist senior consultants with analytical inputs needed for project decision-making 

 

Internal Systems and Operations

  • Maintain templates, tools, trackers, and vendor repositories 
  • Administer and update systems like SharePoint, Wrike, and Teams channels 
  • Support the consulting team with document control, archiving, and compliance activities 

 

Proposal and Business Development Support

  • Help to coordinate and format client proposals and pitch materials 
  • Assist in maintaining business development tools and documentation 

 

Qualifications and experience 

  • At least 2 years of recent experience in Clinical research, f.i. CTA or CRA, or equivalent experience in the life sciences industry 
  • English skills (both written & verbal) must be exceptional 
  • Advanced MS Office experience: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and willing to learn and adapt new applications/software used 
  • Right to live and work in the Netherlands

  • Understand the operational realities of clinical development and vendor oversight

Hiring Process

After application, you’ll be invited to an initial interview with our Director of Group Services, Susan Braakman. If the conversation goes well, you’ll be asked to complete a short PI assessment. This helps us understand how you naturally work, how you communicate, make decisions, and respond to your environment. There are no right or wrong profiles; we use PI to build stronger, more balanced teams and to make sure you’re set up for success in your role. A read-out of the PI assessment will be planned with you to give you insights into your profile. 

 

An additional Interview with at least one Senior Business Consultant and the CEO will take place. As a third, and final round, we will ask you to prepare a presentation about yourself. In addition, we will send you a case study that you can prepare for, and you will present your approach to the wider team, which will include members of the Consulting team, and other department members when required.
