We’re delighted to welcome this month, Gersende Bonin to the Seuss+ team as she steps in to cover Lauren Alani’s maternity leave. Over the years, Gersende has worked on both the sponsor and CRO sides, providing her with a nuanced understanding of the challenges biotech companies face when it comes to system oversight, vendor management, and compliance.

Gersende Bonin: Helping Sponsors Make Clinical Systems Work for Their Trials

Originally from the South of France, Gersende has lived and worked across several Commonwealth countries, adding an international perspective to her work. Now based in North Wales, she joins Seuss+ at a time when our clients are increasingly focused on making sure their systems are not only compliant but fit for purpose.

Gersende will be working across projects where clinical systems are at the core. That includes reviewing system setup, tracking data flow, looking at compliance issues, and helping sponsors make sense of vendor roles. She’s also getting involved in shaping how we approach advisory services around system strategy and monitoring frameworks. With her experience in RBQM, she’ll play a part in how we help clients think about risk and data decisions across the lifecycle of their studies.

Her strength is that she doesn’t separate systems from operations; she treats them as two sides of the same challenge. That’s increasingly important for sponsors trying to get their systems to do more than just tick the compliance box. Gersende looks at whether things work practically, whether they serve the team using them, and whether they stand up to the scrutiny that comes with clinical research.
