What’s it like to work as a freelancer for Seuss+? Meet Stephanie, Copywriter at Seuss+. She shares her experience and discusses how feeling like part of the family is vital for freelancers.
Hi Stephanie, Tell Us A Little Bit About Yourself?
Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am a freelance writer. However, I carry the title of Copywriter at Seuss+.
How Long Have You Been A Part Of The Freelancer Family At Seuss+?
I’ve been freelancing for Seuss+ for just over 2 years now, and I love every single second of it.
Why Do You Like Working With Seuss+?
I’m a social person in my private life and my professional life. Seuss+ has this great, fun, and warm environment; even as a freelancer, I feel very much part of the Seuss+ family. There is no feeling of superiority; even the CEOs want to know how you are. This makes you feel like you are a part of a team and not just a freelancer or a short-term employee.
Working as a freelancer, it can be challenging to integrate with a company or really get to know the people, but with Seuss+, even as a freelancer, you are part of the team and treated like it too. This is so important for freelancers, and significantly impacts work quality when you can work so openly, honestly, and close with the right people.
Before the pandemic, I even worked at the office 2 days a week and felt like I really belonged there. Colleges are open and willing to help you whenever help is needed.
How did You Learn About Seuss+?
I was introduced to the Seuss+ team via another client, iGina. Over the years, my relationship with Seuss+ has grown, and I thoroughly enjoy the variety of projects and teams I get to be a part of.
What Is Something You Find Unique About Seuss+?
Definitely the Family Feel.
Seuss+ makes you feel part of their core team from day one. This is shown in the small things, asking how you are, what you are up to, and what keeps you busy.
What’s A Moment In The Company You Were Part Of That You’d Love to Share?
In the moments leading up to the launch of Seuss+. There was so much excitement in the air and a little tension, utterly normal with the launch of a ‘new brand,’ but the energy was high, and I remember this project and experience clearly. The excitement to finish the project, creating something one can be proud of, doing the photoshoots, putting together all the pieces of the brand puzzle, and the actual result coming together. Yes, it was busy; however, everyone wanted to put 110% of their effort in, and it was really a team/family effort.
